[VIDEO] Jack White’s “Freedom at 21”
Jack White, in collaboration with music video director Hype Williams, released the video for his third single, “Freedom at 21”, from his new solo album, Blunderbuss.
The just-shy-of-three-minutes mini movie features White in a lime green, hemi-charged 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, running from a sexy officer of the law. He gets arrested and jailed with an equally sexy inmate and manages to escape. At the end, he reaches a line of more cops and the video cuts there – perhaps there’s a sequel in the works?
Williams is best known for directing rap music videos in the late ’90s and early ’00s. His résumé includes 2Pac’s “California Love”, Nas’ “Hate Me Now”, TLC’s “No Scrubs” and Jay-Z’s “Big Pimpin’”.
