[VIDEO] Papa Roach’s “Still Swinging”

Los Angeles-based alternative metallers Papa Roach released the video for “Still Swinging”, the first single off the band’s upcoming seventh studio album The Connection, produced by Sixx:A.M. vocalist James Michael.

The video features the band performing on a smokey rooftop while the protagonist defends himself during a zombie apocalypse. The song continues to show the band’s progression from its edgy turn-of-the-millennium mainstream debut to the more melodic and reserved sound of today.

Lead singer Jacoby Shaddix spits rap-like lyrics in the verse that transition to an uplifting chorus. “Still Swinging” proves to be a memorable nü metal fight anthem.

In related news, Papa Roach recently pulled out of the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Tour after Shaddix was diagnosed with a nodule on his left vocal cord.
